WELCOME

Welcome to my psychotherapy practice. In my work I strive to create a warm and supportive environment for my clients to explore their inner depths while gaining insight on developing healthier, more connected and fulfilling lives and relationships. Starting therapy can be a challenge. Connecting with your therapist and building a relationship of trust is essential. I find that people I’ve worked with can achieve remarkable results. I am committed to building that trust and using my help and insight to hold, challenge, support and encourage my clients through every step of treatment. Finding the right therapist that you can feel comfortable and connected with can be daunting. I encourage you to reach out directly to further explore if I may be a good fit for your needs.

HOW I WORK

The challenges we face in relationships and being in the world are often a reflection of our early relationships and previous events. We may spend years repeating patterns that no longer serve us while not knowing how to change. I will work with you to gain deeper insight into your past while paying attention to how it affects you now in your personal, social and professional life. I work from a relational, psychodynamic perspective to support growing insight and lasting change. I may also include aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused and narrative therapy in my approach as needed. We will work together to create a therapy that is attuned to your particular needs, challenges, and strengths.

SERVICES

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can be an opportunity to address a current life issue, or shift long standing problems to move toward healing and growth. Weekly therapy sessions provide a space to explore and begin to understand how your past and current circumstances inform your beliefs about yourself, what you are capable of and what limits becoming more of who you would like to be. Often we repeat past coping strategies and behaviors that protected us earlier in life but have now become limiting and leave us feeling lonely, unfulfilled or out of touch with ourselves. Together we can bring compassion and awareness to these patterns and learn how to let them go to achieve greater connectedness, self-confidence, power and freedom. Some of the issues I help people with:

•    Depression

•    Anxiety, Panic, Fear

•    Relationships

•    Trauma and PTSD

•    Addictions

•    Identity Issues

•    Career Concerns

•    Obsessions/Compulsions

•    Social Anxiety

•    Unhappiness

•    Self-Esteem

•    Life Transitions
